Building brighter futures and better tomorrows, Yellow Roof Foundation held Raise the Roof 2024 on June 23. Raise the Roof is the nonprofit’s annual fundraising event, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the mission of affordable rental housing for families and individuals at risk for homelessness.

This year’s event sold out quickly. It featured country stars Lee Brice, Jerrod Niemann and Nick Norman for an evening of stories and songs, exquisite wines, and a world-class dinner at the renowned Culinary Institute of America at Copia. Our entire Covenant Technical Solutions’ leadership team was there, helping to make it unforgettable. It was definitely a night worth remembering!

Donating at Raise the Roof 2024

The CTS executive leadership team — Rob Craw, Bill Williams, and Sean Summers — has long supported the Yellow Roof Foundation, applauding efforts to build affordable housing for those vulnerable to housing insecurity. And during Raise the Roof 2024, CEO & Founder Rob Craw and his wife Michelle donated $52,000 on behalf of Covenant Technical Solutions.

Yellow Roof Foundation was founded by Dave and Lori Sanson in 2018. The Sansons also own DeNova homes and remain committed to the mission of expanding affordable housing for at-risk families. Rob and Michelle’s donation secured naming rights for one of the houses DeNova Homes is building. It will be called “The Covenant House.”

Prioritizing Philanthropy

As a veteran, Craw has offered longstanding support to local nonprofits such as Yellow Roof Foundation. He’s especially prioritized organizations local to the Danville, CA, area who support our military community — Sentinels of Freedom, Blue Star Moms, Disabled American Veterans, and the local American Legion Chapter.

“Supporting local nonprofits isn’t only about giving back,” says Craw. “It’s also about having a front row seat to witness the impact you’re making firsthand. It makes the reward of giving more tangible. I appreciate seeing lives transformed and communities strengthened through our contributions.”

At CTS, we’re excited about weaving philanthropy into the fabric of our company culture. With generosity as a core value, we’re striving to make a meaningful impact beyond our day-to-day business operations. We’re proud that our entire team attended Raise the Roof 2024, and we’re looking forward to seeing The Covenant House completed this October. We know we’re making a difference for a family, and that’s what matters most.

Looking Forward

We’re also looking forward to attending the ribbon cutting ceremony when the house is complete. “Our team couldn’t be more excited as we follow the progress of The Covenant House and look forward to the ribbon cutting,” Craw says. “The ceremony will celebrate the partnerships that brought this vision to reality, and it will mark a new beginning for a struggling family who finally has a secure home.”
